What the Heck is That?

I don't know why - perhaps it's because I used to work in a video store - but I have a fascination with buried direct-to-video movies starring famous TV actors who weren't famous at the time. Remember Possessed, starring Desperate Housewives' Nicolette Sheridan, released on DVD - despite Sheridan's objections - in 2005? Of course you don't. (She went on to star in the much more, uh, respectable Code Name: The Cleaner.) How about Katherine Heigl in Zzyzx Rd., the movie that famously banked a total of $20? The list goes on. Well, I was browsing Amazon tonight when Sawyer's smiling face caught my eye:

Now that's just funny. C'mon..."Mi Amigo," starring Sawyer. I went on IMDb for a little investigating -- the flick is from 2002, and apparently Holloway actually only appears in half the movie (he's credited as "Younger Pal"). The one and only user review is titled "Worst movie ever, no really its that bad."

Sounds like a good rental to me.

Have the other Lost actors starred in any schlock like this? I'm sure that they have, although if you know of any titles, please let me know below; and, of course, the all-time best before-they-were-famous role is that commercial Evangeline Lilly was in. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's any shame in it -- when you're an out-of-work actor, you're not worried about the quality of the gig you just landed a role on. It's just pretty hilarious to look back on once they've safely hit it big.
