They Cast Jacob? (Spoilers...)

The possible spoilers just keep coming today: the latest is courtesy of EW's Ausiello Files, and it's potentially pretty heavy for the show:

Fact: Dexter alum Mark Pellegrino (he played Rita's abusive ex) has been cast on Lost in a pivotal role, multiple sources confirm to me exclusively.
Unconfirmed scuttlebutt: He's playing Jacob in an off-island, circa-'70s flashback involving some very familiar faces!

Over at DocArzt, you can see a picture that suggests Jacob doesn't appear in a '70s flashback, but rather in a Locke flashback taking place right after he was shoved out of the window by his dad.

Perhaps he appears all over the place? Like a guardian angel of some kind? Ausiello also confirms we're definitely seeing him in the finale.

Pellegrino is 43 and looks younger. I always thought Jacob would look like...well, a lot like Locke. Of course, who said Jacob only had to have one face?
