"The Other Woman" ratings

Lost's Nielsen ratings continue to be strong this season, and they especially stand out given the dearth of new episodes of dramatic television shows. You know, those non-reality shows - it's regularly the only one in the top ten.

"The Other Woman" nabbed 13 million viewers this past Thursday. If you've been paying attention, that's down from the premiere, but it's actually up from last week. A full breakdown courtesy of approachinglost:

4.01 “The Beginning of the End”16.1 million viewers
4.02 “Confirmed Dead” 15.2 million viewers
4.03 “The Economist” 13.7 million viewers
4.04 “Eggtown” 13.6 million viewers
4.05 “The Constant” 12.8 million viewers
4.06 “The Other Woman” 13 million viewers

That's right, the best episode of the season, "The Constant", actually had the worst ratings. So it goes. I wouldn't worry about the general declining trend, by the way; that's the arc that most shows follow over the course of a season. Every single episode so far has beaten the final sixteen episodes of Season 3, although that was when it was on at 10pm. Expect a similar dip when it shifts to 10pm in April - although airing after Grey's Anatomy might counteract that.
