"The Little Prince" Postmortem

The general rule is that the episode following a Desmond-centric one will not be totally awesome. It can't be. This said, last night's "The Little Prince" was pretty solid, as long as you're not a total Kate-hater and willing to accept her complete ignorance when it comes to the legal system. Really, Kate, as a criminal, you should know how these lawyer people work. And how bad guys work.

Standouts for me:

Labor. Sawyer's face. Oh, my heart. I am officially won over. FLASH.

~ That's right. I am officially a Sawyer fan. It's only taken 5 years. Sure, nicknames and snarkiness are fun, but Josh Holloway's acting last night was brilliant. The reaction shots were Emmy-worthy. Yep, I was moved.

~ Juliet is becoming cooler than Kate. And her nose is bleeding. Shoot.

~ Sawyer's flash-inspired "Thank you, Lord" followed by "I take that back" was the dialogue of the night. Score one more for Josh.

~ I loved the Danielle/Jin moment, although I didn't find it all that shocking. I think I'm so prepared for twists and turns that I'm becoming immune to them. Oh, and I'm pretty good at remembering things like French = Danielle. And that a tombstone on the mainland doesn't mean that Jin is dead. I'm of the camp that Jin is changing the past (sorry, Michael). Which my brain can't actually wrap around. Yet. But then there's that Sickness business (thanks for reminding me, Michael). Too much to process....

~ Oh, and I'm a little tired of tranquilizer darts. New weapon, please.

Be sure to check out Doc Jensen's in-depth recap. He's flushes out some interesting character/relationship stuff, and reminds me to keep liking Kate. Oh, and brings up the questions: Where is Sun's daughter? Is Miles really Pierre Chang's son? Who sent Sun the gun?
