The Fork in the Outlet

As a follow-up to my last post, the codename for the big twist in the Season 5 finale has been chosen: it will henceforth be referred to as "The Fork in the Outlet", according to TV Guide.

They also mention that the two-hour finale will be called "The Incident," which is surprisingly generic for a Lost finale (in the past we've gotten fun literary references like "Through the Looking Glass" and "There's No Place Like Home").

Might the incident refer to the Purge? Or Ben turning the donkey wheel and unhinging the island? Or Desmond blowing up the Swan?

Or perhaps the incident that caused the 108 minute countdown timer to be implemented in the first place?

Or something we know nothing about yet?

We're getting perilously close to the finale. Tomorrow's episode is the twelfth, ominously titled "Dead is Dead" (which I don't need to tell you has some serious implications for Locke, Christian, and Claire). Then there's "Some Like it Hoth," "The Variable," "Follow the Leader", and the two-part finale.

Cue the ramping-up intensity...now.
