Stuff We Already Know: Lost will make up for lost episodes

For some reason a bunch of websites reported today that Lost is still on course to make up the episodes it lost during the past season's writers strike; I thought everybody reported this two months ago, but apparently not everyone.

The not-so-breaking news might stem from ABC's current TCA press tour (I only know what one of those sets of acronyms means), at which Entertainment President Steve McPherson confirmed the news.

Funnily enough, not only is the news late, but it's being misreported; in at least two articles, it states that the plan was for Season 4 to have 17 episodes, while the actual plan was to have 16. (14 hours were eventually produced.) Since it's the same mistake, it presumably came from McPherson himself.

And no, none of this really matters, but you were warned when I categorized this as Stuff We Already Know.
