One Week Warning - Season 4 Begins - January 31st!

lost_dharma.jpgWe're less than a week away from the beginning of the 4th season of Lost and there's a lot of buzz starting to build. One of the key issues surrounding the show has to do with the writer's strike. The show is scheduled for a 48-episode run before reaching it's conclusion in 2010. However, with the writer's strike now in full swing and no sign of ending one has to wonder if we'll get the full 48 or some watered-down lesser number?

"A lot of viewers turned and ran and didn't come back, so the worry in fandom now is what if people don't come back after these eight [air]?" she says.

The speculation is that if viewership doesn't build, ABC will have less motivation to complete the final 40. Then, Darlton may be forced to cram TV's most complex series into far fewer episodes."

Lost, just like any other show on television needs viewers. We've seen some good television series die because the ratings weren't there to support it. Hopefully more people will get into the show and lose themselves in the mystifying world of Lost.

If you haven't seen it yet, here is the extended promo for the upcoming Season 4 premiere:

Getting Randy on-board was a good call Paula! He'll get her all synth'd up and sounding a wee better than one might expect. This should be interesting. If you can't possibly wait until the Super Bowl to hear Ms. Abdul stretch her vocals, here is a link to her new single.
