More Former Lost Characters in Movies

After writing my last post about all the Lost cast members popping up in Machete, I feel like I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this weekend saw the release of two movies with two more former Lost stars.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which was #1 at the box office this weekend, stars Mr. Eko himself, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje, as Heavy Duty. In fact, since the cast is listed alphabetically, Eko gets first billing. In a major summer movie! Not bad.

Meanwhile, Kiele Sanchez -- one half of the unforgettable Nikki & Paolo team -- stars in this weekend's thriller The Perfect Getaway. Roger Ebert liked it, but unfortunately, it made only $5.8 million, coming in at seventh place. Ironically, the movie takes place in Hawaii, where Lost shoots. I guess she never left after getting buried alive.
