More Emmy semifinalist stuff

It was revealed earlier that Lost was one of ten semifinalists for Best Drama for this year's Emmy awards. The list will get whittled down to five when nominations are officially announced, so it might still get shut out, but semifinalist status is nothing to sneeze at -- especially when the Emmys have ignored the show in that category for the past two years.

Anyway, there have been more semifinalist lists appearing, and with them, more potential Lost nominees. For Best Supporting Actor in a Drama, both evil little man Michael Emerson (specifically for "The Shape of Things to Come") and badass torturing ninja Naveen Andrews (specifically for "The Economist") made the list. For the record, their competitors are:

Bruce Dern, Big Love
Christian Clemenson, Boston Legal
Ted Danson, Damages
Zeljko Ivanek, Damages
T.R. Knight, Grey's Anatomy
William Shatner, Boston Legal
John Slattery, Mad Men
Blair Underwood, In Treatment
Jake Weber, Medium

Emerson should be a lock, although Andrews has a good shot, too. Danson, Shatner, Slattery, and Underwood are the biggest competition as far as I can tell.

And yes, if you were counting, that makes eleven semifinalists in what is supposed to be a list of ten. Not my fault they break their own rules.

Unfortunately, there's no one else to brag about. Lost cast members were no where to be found in the Lead Actor, Lead Actress, or Supporting Actress categories. And what's with Terry O'Quinn being left out? He won the darn thing last year. Sort of like how Lost won in its first season and then was left off the list in its second. Lame.
