Mira Furlan quit

Danielle_Rousseau-Mira_Furlan.jpgThe following comes from DarkUFO, which got it from an e-mailer who got it from a forum which got it from a Croatian magazine which got it from Mira Furlan (Rousseau)'s husband. I realize that sounds absurd, but it doesn't seem like big enough news for anybody to just B.S., so here it is:

Why did your wife stopped shooting Lost? She got bored of Hawaii. She got "island fever" - that's how cast of Lost calls it in joke. Simply, she didn't want to be on that island, she didn't want to work that job, so she made a deal with the producers to kill her character off.

How did they kill her off?
Shot her. But, her character is pretty popular with fans of the series, so they leaved possibility for comeback next season.

A comeback next season? Didn't they show her face buried in the dirt in the last episode? Oh well. Maybe this will appease the people who didn't like how the writers unceremoniously offed her. So all of us.

Actually, it sounds like Mr. Eko all over again. He was a popular character killed before his prime, in an abrupt fashion, and we found out later it was because Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje didn't want to do the show anymore.
