Lost Thwarted by the Olympics

There's another shadowy organization that's causing trouble for the Lost castaways: the International Olympic Committee.

The deal is, the 2010 Winter Olympics are being held in Vancouver from February 12th until February 28th. Even though they'll air on NBC, ABC is worried about the ratings competition (the most recent Summer Olympics were huge) so they've announced that Lost will go on a little new-episode hiatus.

In practice, this probably only means that Lost will skip two weeks. Which isn't a huge deal. But it's doubly annoying because we're not even sure -- because they still haven't officially announced when Lost will return. Sometime in January. Maybe. Something like that.
