Lost goes home empty-handed

Lost didn't win any awards last night despite being up for two major ones: Michael Emerson for Supporting Actor in a Drama, and the entire show for Best Drama.

The latter loss wasn't entirely unexpected as it was one of those cases where it was "just an honor to be nominated" after getting left out in that category for the past two years (after winning it the first year).

But I was rooting for Emerson. C'mon, best bad guy on TV in years. Plus, Terry O'Quinn won last year, so it would've been neat.

The guy who did win was Zeljko Ivanek for Damages. He's done a lot of TV work, notably on Oz, and yep, he actually has appeared on Lost. In "Not in Portland," he played Juliet's ex-husband -- the guy who gets run over by a bus -- but he didn't share any scenes with Emerson.
