"Little Prince" Ratings Almost Identical

Reporting the ratings of Lost used to be fraught with tension and excitement -- well, for me at least. This season it's suddenly become really boring.

Not that that's a bad thing. Every episode of Lost so far has held steady at just about the exact same spot: 11 million viewers, which is bumped up about 20% once the DVR Live + 7 Days numbers come in.

An American Idol time shift on the horizon could spell trouble, though. Currently Lost's Fox competitor is the new Tim Roth show Lie to Me, which has held a similar pace thanks to the Idol lead-in.

Lost had 17-20 million viewers in its first season, which jumped up to 21 million in the beginning of the second season but was whittled down to about 14 million by the season's end. Since then it has declined more incrementally as the mythology got thicker, but this season seems to have finally found a ratings groove.
