Lilly: Acting Career Ends With Lost?

Oh, Evangeline, you don't have to threaten to quit acting to make us take you seriously. You can still care about the world around, indulge in hobbies and write until your hand cramps without walking away from the screen. Really. I promise.

"I intend on pursuing a lot of other things in my life. I’d love to have more time to devote to hobbies…

"Before the show I had intended to be some sort of humanitarian worker. I’ll definitely have more time to pursue more of that. Writing is my first and foremost passion - I can’t stop writing. I write all the time. So I want to try to either publish something I’ve written or sell a script or work on that."

And then she hesitates. It's dangerous to say never when your words are being transcribed and will be one day used against you.

"The reality is when you open a door, there is no sense in closing it - so I would never say I’ll never act again. But it’s definitely not my priority."

At least we've got two more years out of here. I have a feeling she'll be around post-Lost. But look for serious and impressive career choices. And at a reasonable pace.
