LOST has been known to reference many works of literature. Sometimes it's less obvious, other times it's very obvious: Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz immediately come to mind.

So when LOST producers Lindelof and Cuse were asked what references will be coming they replied...

"Continue reading the Bible."

Well, that is according to TV Squad's recap of a teleconference today.
