Here's a terrific article, courtesy of USA Today, on Kevin Durand - a.k.a. Keamy the psychopath. It functions both as a crash-course of Durand and a preview of the upcoming finale. For example, he put himself through college by doing stand-up comedy in Ontario? And he did backup vocals on the debut album of Russell Crowe's band after co-starring with him in Mystery, Alaska? And he loves Les Miserables? All true.
He caught an earful from fans angry over Alex's death in particular. "People would just yell at me. They weren't too happy about that," Durand recounts. "I kept saying, 'It wasn't my fault! It's Ben's fault!' But then people started cheering me on. I think they just love to hate [Keamy]."
He also drops a few hints about Keamy's motivations:
Asked to concoct a flashback plot for the stone-cold killer, Durand chooses his words carefully. "Keamy has a very big personal stake in this mission, and it's beyond anything monetary. He's just trying to get it done as soon as possible. It has to do with his family, so that's why he's working at the pace he is."
His family? So is Durand just making up his own backstory, or is Charles Widmore holding Keamy's family hostage and forcing him to blow up the island in exchange for their safety? Stranger things have happened, but whatever the case may be - and this is technically a spoiler - it doesn't look like Keamy is long for this world. You can definitely catch Durand talking about Lost in the past tense, so as most of us expected, he's probably eating a bullet (or an explosion) on Thursday.
Luckily for Keamy/Durand fans, you'll have plenty of opportunities to see him - in the Biblical apocalypse thriller Legion, in which he plays the archangel Gabriel (opposite Paul Bettany as the archangel Michael) and in next summer's X-Men Origins: Wolverine (alongside Hugh Jackman and fellow Lost alum Dominic Monaghan) as the Blob.

I love Kevin Durand, what a great actor. I was so depressed that they killed Keamy off so quick. He was by far my favorite character this season and I was hoping that he would make it to the next season. Oh well I can't wait for the new X-men movie to come out.
