J.J. Abrams on the Chances for a Lost Movie

MTV recently asked J.J. Abrams (presumably during a larger conversation about Star Trek) whether Lost could ever be made into a movie.

If he had just said "no," I wouldn't have bothered posting this, but he does leave the door open with the argument that since the series is definitely ending after Season 6, and the writers can build up to that knowing it'll definitely be the end of the show, Lindelof and Cuse could purposefully leave the door open for a movie if they wanted to.

And while he doesn't explicitly say this, the subtext of his comments is: it's not up to him. He's still friendly with the show, but he relinquished creative control a long time ago, and Carlton Cuse was instated in his place.
