"Ji-Yeon": Predicting the Oceanic Six

Ready for "Ji-Yeon"? I didn't think so. For previews of tomorrow's episode, check out five sneak peaks here.

This one (the first of the five) explains the episode's title:

"Ji-Yeon" is the seventh of eight pre-strike-filmed episodes. You know what that means....

Over at Zap2It.com, Ryan McGee is trying to figure out who makes it into the final two spots of the Oceanic Six. I know a lot of people think it's Jin and Sun, but I'm thinking that only one will make it. Maybe Sun. And the sixth? Still iffy. Michael, perhaps? I have this morbid belief that people who arrived as/become a duo will not leave as such (see Shannon and Boone, Charlie and Claire, Hurley and Libby, et c).

I don't really agree with some of the characters in the running in his article. I'm strongly holding to the idea that to be an Oceanic Six member, one must have been on the flight. So I've already eliminated Ben, Juliet, et al from the running.

So quick, before it's revealed, who do you think will make it? Bernard? Vincent? Claire? And if Claire makes it, I'm interested to know why she's not raising her own son. Sure, she was planning on the adoption thing pre-crash, but I'm pretty sure she has since bonded with Aaron....

If a child was conceived on the island, can she be one of the Six? If so, "Ji-Yeon" may be our answer. But mother-and-child would ruin my pairs theory. As would a non-crash survivor being dubbed a Sixer. I am proving myself wrong as I type. Or just proving myself confused.
