It was pretty much the most anticipated new show of the fall season -- at least among geeks -- but so far at least, Fringe has disappointed.
Its premiere episode, which ran from 8:00-9:35 on Tuesday night, scored only 9.1 million viewers. It won its time slot among viewers 18-49, but Fox was no doubt hoping for something bigger. After all, Lost opened to 18 million viewers in the fall of 2004.
Don't count Fringe out yet, though, because now that it has its premiere out of the way it will air after House.
