Random notes on where things stand...

-A popular theory is going around that Faraday went into the Others camp planning on being killed -- that that's the only explanation for why he was behaving like a gun-waving wild man. I'll certainly be happy if that turns out to be the case -- taken as is, the scene is pathetically staged -- but it does raise some questions if true: (A) how would we even find out now that Faraday's probably dead? (B) Why would he want to be killed anyway? (C) Why did he still seem so surprised when he saw that Hawking had shot him?

-Another theory is that Faraday programmed the code in the Hydra hatch that Charlie decoded in order to clear the signal before he died. That sounds a lot more reasonable.

-We've been Sayid-less for four full episodes now. Let's cut that out.

-I usually don't go on Spoilerfix.com because there's a threshold of what I want spoiled for me -- titles, clips, and hints are O.K., plot secrets are not -- but I accidentally found out from them who tonight's episode will be centered around (if their source-less claim is to be believed -- they've drawn conclusions based on out-of-context information before). I won't reveal who, just that I got kind of excited about it. I predicted recently that it would be Juliet.

-The teasers revealed on this week's episode of EW's Totally Lost are:

-Since tonight's is the last episode before the two-hour finale, don't expect many things to be tied up at the end.
