Emilie de Ravin lands a Johnny Depp movie

Hm, it would've helped to know this a few days ago when I interviewed her. Apparently Emilie de Ravin, a.k.a. Claire, will appear in the upcoming movie Public Enemies, directed by Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral).

The flick stars Johnny Depp as notorious 1930s bank robber John Dillinger, and Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis, the FBI agent on his trail. We don't know what de Ravin's part is yet exactly, but here's a picture of her with Depp, on set and in full costume:

The movie has a huge supporting cast of name actors: Marion Cotillard, Channing Tatum, Billy Crudup, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, David Wenham, Shawn Hatosy, and Lili Taylor, to name a few. Not a bad lineup.
