Desmond Makes the Grade

Over at Entertainment Weekly, along with the Dharka spoiler, Doc Jensen has graded season four's episodes thus far. And coming in as number one is "The Constant." Arguably one of the best episodes yet (not just this season, but the entire series), the time-tripping, blow-your-mind, tug-at-your-heartstrings episode deservedly garnered his A+ of approval. Thoughts?

Least impressive in Doc's world was "The Other Woman," probably because it followed "The Constant" more than anything else. And after Desmond being in two places at once, no one really cared if Ben has a thing for Juliet. Personally, I would put "Meet Kevin Johnson" in the same category, and not tie it with the "I can't believe Kate is raising Aaron" episode as Doc does. But that's just me. And I'm partial to all things Kate and Jack, so I'm completely biased. The first step is admitting you have a problem....

Okay, Losties, give me your rundowns. Best and worst of the season thus far? Is "The Constant" going to be the standard against which all following episodes will now be measured?

The pilot remains pretty standout, though. Lost had me at the closeup of Jack's eye.
