Claire downgraded for now

Emilie_de_Ravin-Claire-Jacob-Cabin.jpg

I missed this on Friday, but buried inside E!Online's recap of the finale is this little tidbit:

According to Kristin's sources, our Claire-bear (Emilie de Ravin) will not be a regular in season five, but rather she will be on a "holding contract." However, after her sojourn in the underworld, or wherever she is, she will return to us for season six.

Good news and bad news. First of all, "Kristen's sources" have, to my knowledge, never led us astray, so I'll accept this as fact unless proven otherwise. But it confirms my fears that we won't be seeing much of Claire anytime soon (although I'm guessing/hoping she'll at least pop up Charlie-style).

Now the question becomes: how will she return in Season 6? First of all, will it be a full-time return, or will she just pop up more frequently? And second, if she becomes a full-fledged cast member again, that's kind of awesome, 'cause, like, she's a ghost and all. So I'm betting the island folk - what's left of them - are going to be in tune with their spiritual side by then. Hopefully.
