Boone! Charlie! Libby! How did I miss this?

So apparently the 8:00 p.m. replay of "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" before the finale aired was actually extended. There was new material in it that wasn't shown in the original airing. And no, it wasn't just a random line here or an extra reaction shot there: important information was brought to light.

The extended part was found in the press conference with the Oceanic Six. Remember how in "Eggtown," Jack testified at Kate's trial that there were eight initial survivors of the crash? Three of them died, and then Aaron was born, leaving six, but he never mentioned who the three were.

Well, check it out:

Of course, this doesn't matter in the scheme of things as it's a complete lie anyway, but it's nice to know the whole story, and it's nice to hear the shout-outs to some of the late castaways. Notice how he said Boone died from "injuries" and Charlie "drowned"?

The only thing that annoys me is that I was watching it and I didn't notice. I was with a group of friends, and the pizza delivery guy must've arrived while the scene was playing.
