Attn: Canadian Lost Fans

I'm a slave to my TV on Thursdays. It's a little sad, actually, the way a piece of furniture can dictate my social life, but it's something I just have to live with. So naturally, I was quite excited to hear that ABC.com was streaming entire episodes of Lost online. Finally, I could miss an episode guilt-free. I could watch favorites again, looking for the tiny details I didn't pick up on during the first viewing. And then geography hit me.

Only viewers within the United States
can watch these full-length episodes.

I live in Canada. Therefore, I cannot watch.

Until now. CTV has announced that full-episode streaming of Lost (along with Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives) will be available for Canadian viewers on the CTV Video Player over at CTV.ca. Cue happy dances nationwide.

The details:

Through the deal, fans will now see:
* Full-episode streaming for all new episodes of each series for the remainder of the season; with a 28-day viewing window per episode
* Full-episode streaming of the last two episodes of each series that aired prior to the hiatus; with a 28-day viewing window per episode
* Lost fans can view "Missing Pieces," an online exclusive series of 13 webisodes which fill in storyline gaps during the last three seasons; these are available for viewing for a limited time
* Episode recaps for all episodes of each series this season available for viewing for a limited time
* Episode previews for all episodes of each series this season available for viewing for a limited time

So, my fellow Canadians, I officially rid you of excuses for ever missing another episode.
