Another New Cast Member: Reiko Aylesworth

The Hollywood Reporter is, uh, reporting that Reiko Aylesworth is in negotiations to join Lost.

Aylesworth, best known as Michelle from 24 -- although a quick look at IMDb shows she's a steady worker -- will sign on for at least four episodes to play "Amy, a smart and successful professional woman with a love for the outdoors who is looking for the right man."

Might that be the new love interest Nadine gave us the heads-up about in her last post? Sounds like it.

Jeff Jensen is betting she's a love interest for resident romantic Sayid.

My random theory: it's Locke. She's actually a member of the Others, and Locke falls in love with her before he has to leave to find the Oceanic 6. Or perhaps her brutal death is what makes Locke decide to leave and find the Oceanic 6...?

Chances are, though, you won't see Aylesworth for at least a few episodes as filming has been taking place for a few months without her.
