Another Lost Addiction

On February 26th, gaming and Lost worlds will collide. Finally, you’ll be able to run around on the island with Locke and Jack, explore the Swan station, check out a smoke monster, and piece together the mystery of your own most-likely-sketchy past (as photojournalist Elliott, suffering from amnesia after the crash. Which is a little odd, considering no one else really suffers from anything). And yes, you get your own flashbacks.

Now, I was once told that I was “the worst video-game player in the history of the world,” so the idea of holding the fate of any of the survivors in my hands is a little stressful. But for those less gaming-inept, Ubisoft’s Lost: Via Domus might be worth checking out.

I have to agree with Don at The Tail Section, though. In the trailer below, Locke’s voice is pretty off. But I guess Terry O’Quinn was too busy filming the actual Lost to record for a virtual one (only six of the voices are authentic. You are warned).

For those who want to hear from someone who’s actually seen the game, IGN.com is where it’s at.

Play hard, Losties. And let me know what you think.

I have no clue about the show, never watched it.

But that video game looks fantastic!

So, maybe I should watch the show?

And, is that Hank Azaria's voice in the video game?
