Another Look: Jack's Scar

Quick question for you this Tuesday evening:

What happened to Jack's scar?! The island, seemingly against character, allowed Jack's need for surgery. It also appears to have stepped up its game when it came to post-surgery recovery. Impressive.

What do you think? Or was it just a lazy day in the makeup trailer? Somehow I doubt it.
