Another casting rumor

UPDATED: not true.

After word that Nestor Carbonell would finally become a full-fledged cast member surfaced online last week, DarkUFO posted another rumor that Alison Doody is in negotiations for a recurring role.

It's unconfirmed, but Doody does seem to follow the "Lost model" of casting people who starred in one big movie a while ago but haven't had many high-profile roles recently: Locke was the dude from The Stepfather, Juliet was the chick from Gia, Faraday was the dude from Saving Private Ryan, Frank was the dude from The Lawnmower Man...and, of course, Doody is the chick from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

According to her IMDb page, she didn't appear in a movie from 1995-2003 but recently resurfaced in that King Solomon's Mines TV movie, as well as a few other gigs.

What do you think - would she play a normal friendly person like Frank or a crazy scary person like Abaddon? Would she appear on the island (somehow) or play a role on the mainland? Could she be playing Annie, Ben's long lost love??

We'll let you know if this is confirmed (or debunked).
