Abrams Produces An Earthquake

Looks like super-busy Abrams is adding "disaster movie" to his résumé. He'll be producing a flick (as of this moment, still unnamed) about an earthquake. And no, it's not a remake of "Earthquake." This will be purely original, character-driven disaster.

I'll go. It's been a while since I've been swept up in utter destruction. I think Abrams could be the guy to break me out of such a slump.

Backed by Universal, J.J. is teaming up with the original "Omen" writer, David Seltzer. And naturally, the rest of the Bad Robot team will be producing alongside him.

"Bad Robot" is the best production-company name ever.
