ABC took my advice? Premiere details!

Just this morning, I seized on a rumor from DarkUFO that Lost would be returning to Thursdays at 10 p.m. and proceeded to complain about how it would do better in the ratings if it went back to 9 p.m.

Then, this afternoon, Entertainment Weekly reported that ABC came through in a big way -- the network will apparently air Lost at 9 p.m. Wednesdays, the same time slot it had throughout Season 2.

Even more cool news -- they're kicking off the season on Wednesday, January 28th with a three-hour Lost event: a recap will air from 8 p.m. - 9 p.m., followed by two new hour-long episodes in a row.

Unlike the traditional two-hour finales, these are technically two separate episodes. It's just that one will be aired right after the other. Which is awesome.

This may sound a little weird, but the show returning to Wednesdays feels like its going home again. Season 1 aired Wednesdays at 8 -- although putting it at 9 is a good move to keep it out of the way of American Idol. I'm really excited now.
