A Survivor By Any Other Name....

sawyer.jpg

As many of you will recall, Sawyer toned down his nicknaming for a week upon losing a bet to Hurley last season. But then he killed Anthony Cooper, and it seemed his nicknaming days were over for good. I suppose killing a man takes the fun out of mocking people. But thankfully, as evidenced in this past week's episode, old habits die hard and the nicknames are creeping back in. (And now that the writers are getting back to work, we can only hope for more!)

In "Confirmed Dead," he called Locke and Ben "Colonel Kurtz" and "Yoda" respectively. And with the arrival of the new freighter folk, I'm sure we can expect even more pop-culture nicknaming from our beloved James Ford.

CTV has compiled a list of some great ones, from Freckles to Dr. Giggles to Captain Falafel.

Anyone have a favorite? Or a suggestion for newbie nicknames?

My favorite was always when he called Michael and Jin "Han and Chewie."
